Today Sprint has officially announced release and pricing information of The Samsung Intercept. The Samsung Intercept is The newest Android device which features a 3.2-inch touch display that features 240×400 pixels resolution, a 3.2-megapixel camera which offers one-touch uploads to social networking sites and has a physical QWERTY keyboard slider located underneath the screen. The Samsung Intercept also has An optical joystick which offers enhanced navigation, microSD card slot supports memory expansion cards up to 32GB in capacity, integrated GPS, Wi-Fi wireless networking, and stereo Bluetooth.

And of course, this device is powered by Android 2.1 with a possibility of an upgrade to 2.2 later on. It’s includes all of the Google Mobile services such as GMail, Google Maps, Google Search, and YouTube and you can also download the additional apps from the Android Market. NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile, Sprint Football Live, and Sprint TV are also included, as well as a Microsoft Office document viewer and an MP3 player.

This phone which available in a choice of two colors: Gray Steel and Satin Pink will be available directly from Sprint on July 11 for $99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, with a new two-year service agreement.
