Google Nexus One Hits 20,000 Sold in First Week
February 9, 2010 - category : Cell Phones
Google [GOOG] only managed to shift 20,000 Nexus One phones at first week release. Compare that to the Motorola DROID which sold 250,000 and the iPhone 3G S that sold 1.6 million, 20,000 is really really low.
Google using a different approach to selling the Nexus One phone where they are taking care of the salese by setting up a website at www.google.com/phone rather than letting a network. Although Nexus One phone got a lot of attention in the weeks prior to launch, it is a very low figure although Google are pushing Android a lot this year.
